Funding Opportunities
Economic Development Fund
The GCRPA administers the Economic Development Fund (EDF) to promote and assist in economic development activities in Glacier County. The EDF will be used to provide community development assistance to nonprofit entities, businesses, and public bodies for employment creation projects, or other projects, which provide needed community facilities and services. The EDF is a competitive grant program intended to fill financing gaps in order to encourage economic development.
Revolving Loan Fund
A limit of $10,000 in a small business loan may be requested,. For-profit businesses may apply for a grant not to exceed $5000, and Non-Profit businesses may apply for a grant not to exceed $10,000. Loan interest rate shall be set at 1% over the Prime rate, or at the discretion of the Board. Business must use loan proceeds for sound business purposes. The term of the loan shall not exceed 3 years. These can include, but are not limited to: Fixed Asset Financing, Short Term Asset Financing, Debt Refinancing, Real Estate, Not for Profit Businesses/Entities, and Other Eligible Uses as Approved by the Board.

Before applying, thoroughly read the requirements for your business plan. Applications with incomplete business plans will not be accepted. The GCRPA highly recommends the use of Live Plan in creating and updating business plans.
